Sabanci University Research
Tensilica tools will be used for both research and educational purposes. The main research topic is to design a customized processor that will execute public key cryptography algorithms, such as RSA, elliptic, curves, IBS, and NTRU in faster and secure ways. The ultimate goal is to determine the common instructions and functional units that benefit the aforementioned public key algorithms as far as secure and fast execution are concerned.
The tools will also be used for Logic and Digital System Design and Computer Architecture courses for the 2007-2008 academic year.

130 undergrad students and six teaching assistants are anticipated to use Tensilica's tools. In addition, six graduate students will use the tools for their thesis work.
