Research Description
We are working on application-specific multiprocessor system-on-chip designs for multimedia applications. In the past, we have used Tensilica to design several components of H.264. Right now, our focus is high-definition video and imaging architectural design using Tensilica platform. The major challenge stems from high computation/communication demand and high system flexibility requirement.
