Research Using Tensilica's Technology

We have a course about "advanced architectures of microprocessors and DSP" for our last year engineer student, which presents and utilizes Tensilica's processor technology (3h course + 9h labs). This course is scheduled on February 2007.

Our continuous research activity on multiprocessor architectures for Turbo Communication applications integrate and aim to use Xtensa cores and Tensilica development and simulation tools. A Master of Science project was running on the build of a flexible and extensible multiprocessor architecture for a turbo CDMA decoder and this work should be continued as soon as possible (depending on tools and on available resources (phd and master students).
