advicePLUS and advicePRO Advanced In-Circuit Emulators

Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation offers the advicePLUS and advicePRO Advanced In-Circuit Emulators for Tensilica’s Xtensa configurable and Diamond standard processor cores.

The advicePLUS ICE is a robust development system scalable from basic JTAG/OCD to a fully featured in-circuit emulator. It features bus speeds to 200 MHz, high-speed emulation memory from 4 to 64 MB, USB/100-BT Ethernet host interface, and a sophisticated C/C++ source debugger. Single or multiple processors can be debugged using microVIEW-PLUS, a graphical high-level debug interface that runs under MS-Windows. Trigger and breakpoint event setup, memory mapping, performance analysis and emulator control switches are just a mouse click away.

The advicePRO in-circuit emulator and microviewPLUS GUI-based emulation debugger are now available. The advicePRO products offer both USB2.0 and 100baseT Ethernet interfaces for fast target download performance and features heterogeneous multi-core debug support, making the product ideal for developers of SoC’s with multiple Xtensa processor cores.

The advicePRO device is used in conjunction with the microVIEW-PLUS software debugger. This provides sophisticated operation environment with MDI (Multiple Document Interface) making complicated embedded application debugging simple with its look and feel. microVIEW-PLUS presents advanced and refined debug environments.
