UpZide was founded in 2001 by the key individuals that invented and developed the Zipper DMT technology, a concept that is currently the cornerstone of the international VDSL standard, as well as the evolving VDSL2 standard. UpZide is a spin-off of the research arm of Telia, the leading Swedish network operator.
