SONiVOX (formerly Sonic Network) provides embedded audio technology that enable high quality, interactive audio and multi-media audio playback. SONiVOX’s EAS technology has been ported to Tensilica’s Diamond 330HiFi audio processor and the Xtensa HiFi 2 audio engine. The EAS technology on Tensilica’s processors provides mobile devices with the ability to play MIDI music, ringtones and sound effects. SONiVOX’s EAS includes an MMAPI interface (JSR135) for Java and game support.
