Tensilica Appoints Steve Roddy Director of Product Marketing

Santa Clara, Calif., Nov. 13, 2000 ... Tensilica, Inc., the Santa Clara-based provider of application-specific configurable processor technology, announced today that Stephen Roddy (37) has been named Director of Product Marketing. A newly-created position, Roddy will be based at the firm’s Santa Clara headquarters, and will report to Bernie Rosenthal, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Rosenthal said, “I am delighted to welcome Steve Roddy aboard. He’s a well-experienced senior manager who will add measurably to our growing worldwide marketing efforts. Steve brings a deep understanding of system-on-chip issues as well as significant international experience to Tensilica.”

Immediately prior to joining Tensilica, Roddy was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Integrated Silicon Systems. Earlier assignments included multiple marketing positions , the most recent being Marketing Director for Cadence Design Systems Design Services (now Tality); Product Line Manager at Silicon Architects Group of Synopsys; Product Line Manager at LSI Logic. Roddy received his BSEE from the University of California at Berkeley in 1985, and his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA in June, 1990.
