Jack Guedj, Ph.D.
President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously president and CEO of Magnum Semiconductor, which Jack spun out of Cirrus Logic in 2005. Prior to Cirrus Logic, he was president of TVIA, a leading provider of digital display processors, and led the company's initial public offering. Previously, he was VP of sales and marketing at Faroujda and director of digial media/residential broadband segments at National Semiconductor. He holds a masters' and doctorate degrees in electronics from the University of Paris, as well as a masters degree in business from UCLA. See press release.

Chris Rowen, Ph.D.
Founder, Chief Technology Officer, member of the board of directors, and Tensilica's first president. He was a pioneer in the development of RISC architecture at Stanford in the early 80s and helped start MIPS Computer Systems Inc. in 1984, where he served as Vice President for Microprocessor Development. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager of the Design Reuse Group of Synopsys Incorporated. He received a B.A. in physics from Harvard University and M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Jerry Ardizzone

Jerry Ardizzone
Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Jerry joined Tensilica in 2008. After 14 years at Motorola Semiconductor, where he managed the global sales team for the consumer market, he spent seven years at ARM in various roles including executive vice president of worldwide sales and president of ARM Inc., the US operatons for ARM Ltd. He also worked for several other semiconductor IP companies including Innovative Silicon Inc. and IPextreme.

Chris Carney
Chief Financial Officer. Chris joined Tensilica in 2000 from Wind River. He had been Corporate Controller of Integrated Systems, a public company whom Wind River acquired that year. His previous experience includes seven years at Ernst & Young in London and in San Jose. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.

Ashish Dixit

Ashish Dixit
Vice President of Engineering. Ashish joined Tensilica in early 1998. Previously he held numerous positions ranging from design engineer to director of engineering at Silicon Graphics, working on MIPS VLSI chip development. From 1983 to 1989 Ashish was a quality and reliability engineer as well as a logic design engineer at Intel Corporation. He has been issued eight patents related to configurable processors and memory management in RISC and CISC processors.



Beatrice Fu

Beatrice Fu
Senior Vice President of Engineering. Beatrice joined Tensilica in 1998 from Intel, where she most recently served as Director of the Microcomputer Software Lab, which included Intel's compiler development for x86 and Merced (iA64) architectures, and operating systems development with Microsoft. She previously was the manager of logic design for the Intel 486.



Steve Roddy

Steve Roddy
Vice President of Marketing. Steve joined Tensilica in 2000. Prior to Tensilica, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Amphion Semiconductor. He has also held management positions at Cadence, Synopsys, LSI Logic and AMCC.

Mahesh Venkatraman
Vice President of Marketing, Vertical Segments. Mahesh joined Tensilica in 2009. He most recently was director of marketing, consumer networking, at Atheros Communications. Before that he was director of product marketing at Marvell. Previously, he co-founded ComSilica/Athena a wireless LAN and mobile DTV silicon provider, which was acquired by Broadcom. He holds a PhD. in electrical and computer engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo. See press release.
