Rich's unique contribution as a technical innovator, educator, visionary and entrepreneur has changed the landscape of the semiconductor and electronic design industries. His influence extends beyond our industry into countless technical domains and into the most pressing social issues of the emerging world.We will miss his warmth, enthusiasm and expertise, and we will work to emulate his shining example.
